NinjaTrader 8 Setup Guide

NocNoe strategies run on NinjaTrader 8. Here's how to get set up.

Prerequisites

• Windows PC (or Mac with Windows via Parallels/Boot Camp)
• NinjaTrader 8 installed (download here)
• Active NocNoe subscription with strategy access

Installing a Strategy

Step 1: Download the Strategy File

1. Go to Strategies on NocNoe
2. Find your activated strategy
3. Click "Download for NinjaTrader"
4. Save the .zip file

Step 2: Import into NinjaTrader

1. Open NinjaTrader 8
2. Go to Tools → Import → NinjaScript Add-On
3. Select the downloaded .zip file
4. Click "OK" to import
5. Restart NinjaTrader

Step 3: Apply to a Chart

1. Open a chart for the appropriate instrument (e.g., ES, NQ futures)
2. Right-click the chart → Strategies → [Your Strategy Name]
3. Configure the parameters as documented
4. Enable the strategy

Troubleshooting

Strategy not appearing after import? Restart NinjaTrader completely (close all windows).

"License not valid" error? Make sure you're logged into the same NocNoe account that activated the strategy. Check your subscription status.

Strategy not placing trades?

• Verify market hours (strategies only trade during market sessions)
• Check that your data feed is connected
• Review the strategy's instrument requirements
